How is my little paragraph of descriptive writing going?

Sounds really good!!! The only thing I would change would be the beginning sentences. The paragraph has tons of detail except the first two sentences. I would start off with what it sounded like when the rain stopped hitting your hood, or the feeling of the hood as you pulled it down. Use all the senses (sight, smell, taste, touch, hearing, or even thought), not just seeing and feeling. Hope that helps :).
