I took hot yoga classes for 1 to 2 years. It helped me get in great shape.?
However, when there was one or more people sick, it seemed like most everyone would get sick. I believe that it was because of all the sweating (temps were up around 97 degrees farenheit). I am a medical professional, and to me it only makes sense that the body fluids (excessive perspiration and breathing) from even one person would cause a lot of people to get sick. So, here is my dilemma. I found vinyassa hot yoga to be the best exercise routine that I have ever found. The down side is that I found myself getting sick more often than when I stuck to my typical running, biking, gym routine. I am curious to see what other yogis think about this.
